Our annual flotilla is held each year in late July or early August.
This trip is for anyone who wants to experience live-aboard life at sea. Whether to improve your sailing skills, or just spend 4 days sailing and exploring the island, GSA flotillas are beyond fun!
We sail 4 boats over to Catalina Island for 4 days with a raft up each evening. Boats board at 9am on day 1 in Long Beach then sail to Catalina Island same day for 4 days/ 3 nights. Boats arrive back in Long Beach by 4pm on day 4 of the flotilla. Boats will sail each day and raft early afternoon for optional shore activities and dinner.
Not Included: Booze, lunches, any shore expenses to include food.
Bring: what you can’t go without (like sweets, favorite snacks, a meal you want to cook, booze, definitely an instrument if you play, towel for swimming, drones, sunblock (no spray sunscreen!), a hat, non-marking shoes, reusable drinking container (no plastic water bottles on board!), shoes that can get wet, flippy floppies.
